On October 13, 2023; John Louis Young passed away. He is the beloved husband of Christine Louise Young (nee Morningstar); loving father of Christine Doris Smith; devoted grandfather of Savannah Katlyn Smith; dear brother of Thomas William Young and the late Howard James Young; cherished brother-in-law of Harry L. Morningstar and wife Margret. John also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
John loved boating and his antique cars. He won many awards at car shows. He also loved fixing and refurbishing things to get them to work again. Most of all he loved his friends and family, especially his daughter and granddaughter.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8PM, Sunday, October 22 at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will be held 10AM, Monday, October 23 at the funeral home. Interment in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
