On November 29, 2015; JANET CHRISTINE SHELTON (nee Scott) of Catonsville, left us quietly. Only she heard the gentle call to begin her journey in a new life. She is the beloved wife of Joseph “Jack” Shelton; loving mother of Darlene Cline; cherished grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren in Florida. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Christine Scott. She was a friend to all who met her and loyal and giving. She knew the importance of faith and love. Thanks to a dear special friend and angel God sent our way, she enriched our lives in so many ways. You expressed love, care and making yourself available. What a spiritual gift to impact the lives of others. Thanks until we meet again.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 4 from 10-11AM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228; where a funeral service will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Catonsville United Methodist Church, 6 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
