Jane T. Kaufman

On March 30, 2012, JANE TULLY KAUFMAN (nee McCool) was born in Philadelphia in 1929 and lived in the Port Richmond area, graduating from Little Flower High School. She is the beloved wife of the late James V. Kaufman and former wife of the late James F. Tully, Jr.; loving mother of James Tully, III and wife Rhonda, William Tully and wife Lois, Mark Tully and wife Karen, Sean Tully and wife Cheri, Mariellen Wheeler and husband James; step-mother of Jay and Kimberly Kaufman; cherished grandmother of Jim, Mike, Rhiana, Tom, Brendan, Shane, John, Brian and Alina; dear sister of Matthew, Robert, James, Francis, Thomas, Michael, Joseph and the late Gerald McCool. She worked for the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society in Center City. She moved to Catonsville, MD in 1962 with her husband, James Tully and five children. In the 1970’s, Jane began a career with the Baltimore County Public Schools, later moving to Catonsville Community College as a secretary in the library. Retiring in 1999, Jane worked another 10 years, unable to leave her beloved job and friends. Jane leaves a legacy of love and concern for family, friends and anyone she came to know.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC.; 1630 Edmondson Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Wednesday at St. Mark Chapel. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Shrine; 512 W.
