On August 12, 2021, Jacqueline Louise Neun, age 85, of Ellicott City passed away; Jacqueline was born July 3, 1936 in Virginia; Beloved wife of 64 years to Harry “Bud” Neun; Loving mother of JoAnne Neun, Barry Neun, Brian Neun, Laura Mynaugh, and Brendan Neun; Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline Mynaugh, John Mynaugh Jr., and Olivia Hurley; Dear sister of Norris, Janice, Barbara, and Dianne; Loving Aunt of Mischele and Tricia; Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Gertrude Cooke (nee Johnson), and by her sister, Sandra; In the last few years she was reunited with her siblings and nieces with the help of “MyHeritageDNA”.
Jacqueline enjoyed spending time with family; taking trips to Ocean City and to Williamsburg, VA; loved to cruise and visit the Hawaiian Island, British Isles, and Alaska; she enjoyed listening to piano and classical music- especially loved to listen to her “adopted son” John Palmer play the piano; enjoyed going to Toby’s Dinner Theatre; loved cats and knitting; she was an avid reader- enjoyed books written by Nicholas Sparks, Tom Clancy, Michael Creighton, G.G. Atwell, J. K. Rowling- Harry Potter and Twilight book series; loved to write, especially poetry; collected Byers Choice Caroler dolls for her Dollhouse; she was a member of the Bethany UMC; and she worked as an oncology nurse for Park Medical Practice in Lutherville.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 4 to 8PM; where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, 10am. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
