On June12, 2016, Isabel Biggs Bradley, age 99, of Woodlawn, MD passed away at the Season’s Hospice at Northwest Hospital. Daughter of James Morrison Biggs and Catherine Streb Biggs. Isabel was born and raised in Baltimore. She graduated from Seton High School in 1934. She married Howard Lee Bradley Sr. on November 20, 1937.
Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker for most of her life, but she also had a home business selling cosmetics during the 1940’s. During her husband’s wartime service from 1944-1946 she assisted her brother-in-law, George S. Wareheim in the management of his automobile business. Later she worked for Century Shoe Repair for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard L. Bradley Sr. and is survived by her two sons, Murray L. Bradley and wife Page of Leesburg, VA and Howard L. Bradley Jr. and wife Lisanne of Beltsville, MD.
A memorial service will be held at the Augsburg Village, Worship and Community Life Center, 6811 Campfield Rd., Baltimore, MD 21207 on Saturday, July 30, 2016, 1:30pm. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Rocky Ridge, MD.
