George D. Spicer, III, age 76, of Catonsville, Maryland passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. He was a son of the late George D., Jr. and Anne Harrison Spicer; beloved husband of Kathleen Spicer of 50 years; beloved father of Laura Spicer and spouse Dave Nyquist, George D. Spicer, IV and spouse Judith Spicer and James Spicer and spouse Katherine Spicer; beloved grandfather of Kadence Spicer, Logan Spicer, Layla Spicer, Hannah Spicer and Luke Spicer; beloved brother of Mary Beth Balog, Susan S. Ensor and the late Carol Anne Groner.
He was a member of the Institute of Auditors, Big Brothers of Maryland and the Baltimore Camera Club.
He enjoyed Photography, hunting, fishing, wine making, gardening, woodworking and rock hunting.
A visitation for George will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Chapel, 30 Melvin Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at St John's Cemetery, 3480 St Johns Ln, Ellicott City, MD 21042.
