Clarence Edward Cook went home on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born on December 23, 1924 in Mexico, MO and grew up in Quincy, IL and Kansas City, MO. He was an Army Veteran of WW II and following, he graduated from Kansas City University with a law degree. He was a civil servant and worked for the Social Security Administration until he retired in 1986. He attended the Preakness every year and enjoyed golf, poker, traveling and reading.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children Kate Luttrell, Cheryl Cook-Auerbach (Steven) and Craig Cook; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Luttrell, Jeremy Luttrell and Alex Auerbach; 1 great-grandchild, Wesley Luttrell. He was preceded in death by his wife (Norma Dell Hall) and a grand-daughter (Robin Elizabeth Luttrell).
A Memorial Service will be held at the Sterling-Ashton- Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday, January 25, 2018, 1:00pm; following the service, the family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.
Ed Cook never forgave Irsay for taking the Colts out of Baltimore.
