On February 24, 2023, Christel Edith Horan (nee Bortz) of Catonsville; Beloved wife of William John Horan; Loving father of James E. Horan and wife Cindy, John W. Horan, and Jean H. Tighe and husband Bill; Cherished grandmother of Michael, Christina, Shannon, William and Matthew, and great-grandmother of Jayana, Kylie, Mikael, and Danika. She was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Horan, her parents, Erich and Hedwig Bortz (nee Rusch), brothers, Erich and Gunter Bortz, and sisters Brigitte Neitzel, Hannelore, and Ursula Bortz. She is survived by her brother Dieter Bortz, and sister Heidi Engelhardt.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228, on March 6, 2023, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow and be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
