Robert Lynn Mikes

Robert Lynn Mikes, of Parker, Colorado, passed away November 26, 2021. Bob was a hardworking, intelligent, dedicated man of faith. He enjoyed fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles, spending time with family and being a handyman for any task set in front of him. Bob graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas Little Rock which he attended on the GI Bill. He spent over 25 years working for AT&T as a network engineer and took an early retirement, later becoming a consultant. Bob’s biggest accomplishment in life was his family. On June 30, 1973, Bob married the love of his life, Mary Sarvadi. Their loved as dedication stood the test of time as Bob got sick. They were married for 48 years and he instilled a sense of love and commitment into his children and grandchildren.

Bob will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Mary; his daughter, Katharine Nicole Mikes (Juan Jose Ballister-Rosique); his sons James Andrew Mikes (Allison Renee) and Joseph Scott Mikes (Crystal Michelle); his grandchildren Ella Madeline Mikes, Julia Ballister Mikes, Evelyn Rose Mikes, Robert Ballister Mikes, George Ryker Mikes, and Thomas John Mikes; and his sisters, Patricia Godzich (Wayne) and Pamela. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ora Joy Mikes and his brother, Frank Mikes II. A visitation for Bob will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 5-8 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121. A mass of christian burial for Robert will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2746 Fifth St, Castle Rock, CO 80104. Military honors and interment will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 9:15 AM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
