

Richard was born in Denver, Colorado on January 27, 1939. He graduated from Englewood High School. He was married to Sandra L. Linkenheil on August 19, 1961. He grew up in Englewood, then moved to Denver and finally, Castle Rock.
Richard joined the Carpenter's Union #555 in 1957. He worked for many commercial companies and most recently worked 24 years for Safeway Stores, Inc. for their Construction Department. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America. He had a passion for all sports, and a love for antique cars.
Richard is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Linkenheil; his children, Lisa K. Linkenheil, Deron G. Linkenheil, and Granddaughter,Jasmine N. Linkenheil; Sisters, Jody Chipman, Diane Wolfe, Lori Komar. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Linkenheil. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, or, "Orphan Grain Train."
A celebration of Richard's life for will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 550 E. Wolfensberger Rd., Castle Rock, CO.
