Rene Mirta (Campisi) Hunglinger, 90, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2024. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Rene lived a life full of love, strength, and devotion to her family and passions.
Rene was the beloved wife of the late Carlos Enrique Hunglinger, with whom she shared many years of love and adventure. Together, they emigrated from their cherished Buenos Aires to the United States, where they built a life rooted in family and resilience.
She was the loving mother of the late Gracie (Hunglinger) Green and Edward Hunglinger, and a proud and devoted grandmother to Brennon Green and Chiara Hunglinger. Gracie sadly passed away, while Edward continues to carry forward her legacy.
Rene’s life was deeply enriched by her love for classical music and the piano. A gifted musician, she graduated at a young age from the Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, and she found joy in sharing her passion for music throughout her life. She also worked with dedication in a dental office alongside Dr. Augusto Brown but always prioritized her family and creative pursuits.
An accomplished seamstress, Rene enjoyed sewing beautiful dresses and outfits for her granddaughter, a reflection of her creativity and love for her family.
Rene was one of seven siblings and is predeceased by Mario Campisi, Osvaldo Campisi, and Zelma Campisi. She is survived by her siblings Perla Campisi, Miguel Campisi, and Norberto Campisi, who cherished her deeply.
Despite facing profound losses—including the passing of her husband at 59 and her daughter Gracie in 2012—Rene exemplified unwavering strength and resilience. She remained a pillar of support for her family, inspiring all with her determination and grace.
Her life was a testament to her belief that, even when life throws challenges your way, you fight and endure with courage and dignity.
