Norma Lee Kent

Norma Lee Kent was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She left this world suddenly on March 26, 2022, at age 57.

She was born to Ed and Ila Rucsh on June 2, 1964, in Brush Colorado. After graduating from Douglas County High School, Norma married her husband, Jimmy Kent. Together they had two daughters: Valanteyn and Neiqele.

Norma loved spending time gardening and with her animals. Over the years she took care of a menagerie of animals, including horses, cows, dogs, ducks, geese, and cats. Her horse Lurch and her dogs always held a special place in her heart. Norma was extremely proud and affectionate of her three grandchildren; they were the light of her life.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Kent and sister Leisha Rusch. She is survived by her daughters Valanteyn (Jonathan) Koppinger, and Neiqele (Michael Sarabia) Kent; parents Ed and Ila Rusch; grandchildren James, Ivy and Mason; sister Christine (Tarik) Sijelmassi and niece Kenzie.

There will be a service held on Thursday April 7th at 10:30 am at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Castle Rock, CO.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her grandchildren’s college funds.
