Marilyn Kathleen Aylward Le Claire [Mimi] passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery, her parents and brother. Mimi is survived her loving children and grandchildren: Nicole (Christopher) MacDonald, mother of Claire and Christopher, and Yvette Killingsworth (Tony) Rivera, mother of Lauren and Cole. In addition she is mourned by her sister, Liane (Dennis) Dolezar. She was a special aunt to Jon and Inga Dolezar and their sons, Tristan and Koen of Atlanta, GA. Other caring relatives include her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Sue Le Claire of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and her niece, Jodie.
A memorial Mass is planned at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Parker, CO at 4pm on February 1, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Marilyn's name to Autism Speaks [www.Autismspeaks.org (click on "Ways to Give" link)].
This special lady will be fondly remembered by many other friends and relatives. A resident of Parker, Colorado, Mimi worked as a realtor in the Denver area. She married Jeffery Le Claire in December, 1967. She was a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Her final days were blessed with loving caregivers and friends Ruth Hubbard, Todd Killingsworth, and Stephanie Schultz. Mimi is remembered as an energetic, creative, and giving friend. She was able to squeeze fun into the smallest moments – a car ride was occasion for a silly song to entertain children and a dip in the swimming pool became an opportunity to give a scuba lesson to young boys. Her legacy is special to all who treasure her life of generosity and kindness.
