Michael Ross Wightman

Michael was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard and Susan Wightman but lived in Colorado the majority of his life. He grew up in Aurora, CO and graduated from Eaglecrest H.S in 1997. He then proceeded to go to Mesa State University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2001. He wed his wife Heather on May 27th 2006, and they have 3 handsome, smart, caring boys. Michael was the Director of Acquisitions at TPG Energy in Denver, CO.

Michael is survived by his spouse Heather, son Caden (18), son Preston (14), and son Rylan (13), twin sister Wendy Connolly (Dave), brother James Wightman (Lori) and father Richard Wightman (Verna). Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Wightman.

Michael enjoyed watching sports. He was a Broncos, Nuggets and Oklahoma Sooners fan (BOOMER). He also enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool, and playing COD with the boys. Michael was especially proud of his children and dedicated his time teaching them how to grow up and be fine, well-mannered gentlemen. He had a great love of God, his wife and kids, family, and lifelong friends. We are going to miss his sense of humor, ability to listen and willingness to always lend a hand to help someone in need.

Rest in Peace Michael Ross, you’ll be forever in our hearts!

A celebration of life gathering for Michael will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM at The Rock Church, 4881 Cherokee Dr., Castle Rock, CO.
