Lisa Ann Lynch, age 65, gained her wings on June 16th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born February 8, 1957 in East Patchogue, New York to Joe and Sally LaValle. She graduated from Patchogue Medford High School in Medford, New York.
Survivors include her son Tim Lynch (Lindsay) and her beloved grandchildren, Payton and Jaxon of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. She is also survived by her sister, Jean (Jim) Maroney of Medford, New York. She leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Lisa and Tim moved to Colorado in the fall of 1998, where she was employed by the Douglas County School District. She began her career there as a bus driver until she obtained her degree in art, where she was then able to be in the classroom doing what she loved as an art teacher. She recently retired in May of this year after 23 years with the district. Lisa’s favorite art medium was working with clay and making pottery. Many friends and family have been gifted with her beautiful creations.
Anyone who knew Lisa, knew she was an animal lover! She especially loved her dogs and had a fondness for wolves. The beautiful Colorado mountains were truly a place she loved to be.
A celebration of life will be held for Lisa on Saturday, July 30th at the Philip S. Miller Park-Millhouse Building, 1375 West Plum Creek Pkwy. in Castle Rock from 5 – 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
