Kathy Diane Fry-Patterson

An avid snowboarder, cyclist, tennis player, golfer, and runner, she lived life to the fullest. Her infectious smile, humor, and determination was an inspiration to all.

Kathy loved her occupation as a Dental Assistant which she practiced faithfully for 30+ years! She loved all the people she worked with and for and especially loved and cared for those that came into the office for dental work. Kathy was so fun-loving and she fully enjoyed celebrating any special occasion or holidays with her grandchildren! She was their biggest fan and was all for supporting them in any of their activities or sports!

She is survived by her husband, Erik, daughters Wendy and Stacey, step sons Tyler, Zach, Wyatt, grandkids Christian, Brianna, Carter, Andrew and Jacob and step grandkids Sawyer and Sloan.

Her dog, Annie, was by her side at all times, and probably her best friend.

A loving wife and best friend to Erik, she will be sorely missed. She was the boss on her Segway. In addition to her immediate family, Kathy is survived by her sisters Sally Hill of Hilo, HI and Marybeth Epperly of Fuquay-Varina, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Smith and two sisters, Gail Ohlinger and Nola Ditzler.
