Jorge Carlos Ortega

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved JC Ortega. Jorge (JC) Ortega, 37, born in Santa Fe, NM to mother Darlene Ortega and father Jorge Ortega. JC grew up in a large loving family with 2 brothers, and an extended family stretching across multiple states and Mexico. He resided in Castle Rock, Colorado and passed on November 26th, 2022. JC leaves behind his wife, Lindsey Ortega and two incredible children, Soleia (9) and Legend (7). He was a family man to his core. Reflected in his dedication to being the best husband, father, brother, son, uncle, friend, and mentor.

JC attended ThunderRidge High school in Highlands Ranch before studying at Fort Lewis College and graduating from Metro State. He was an incredibly well-respected and successful Realtor. JC was regularly involved throughout the Castle Rock community. He enjoyed being active and had a passion for playing competitive soccer, fishing, and biking with his beautiful family. He was constantly challenging himself and those around him to be 1% better every day. JC had an incredible ability to bring out the best in people. He was able to turn vision into action, strangers into friends and goals into reality. He spent his life in service to others. He had a larger-than-life personality that filled every room he entered, and his infectious smile immediately impacted anyone that met him.

JC Ortega’s celebration of Life will take place on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, at 3pm. Location will be The Rock Club: 738 Castleton Road Castle Rock CO, 80109. Parking will be limited so please reach out to Jamison at 720-584-3361.

During this difficult transition, the family will have a Go Fund Me account set up and linked here. This fund will help with any and all unexpected expenses and potential financial burdens that come with losing someone so suddenly.
