Jennifer (Jenny) Kelly Ordway passed away suddenly on October 27th, 2023. Jenny was the epitome of Florida sunshine and Colorado chill, a reflection of the states she lived in during her most formative years.
Born in Walnut Creek, California on April 20th, 1983, Jenny spent her lifetime serving others after graduating from Chatfield High School in Littleton, Colorado. She then pursued her Bachelor of Science at Colorado State University in 2005, her Master of Science in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in 2013 from Nova Southeastern University, and many other accomplishments including credentials at the Harvard Business School. While life led Jenny on a beautiful detour of growth and development during her years living in Florida, Colorado was her true home.
She is survived by her husband Ryan Ordway whom she wed in June of 2016. She and Ryan worked hard to create a life together in Colorado and one of Jenny’s proudest accomplishments was being a mother to their daughter Addie. Jenny gave her all to her family and her career, always making sure to find time for a beach vacation any time she could. As the CEO of Beken Holdings, and board member of multiple non-profits, she worked tirelessly to create a supportive, innovative, and dynamic work environment while balancing her role as mom supporting Addie in her gymnastics and cheer adventures.
Jenny’s radiant energy, love of country music, and huge heart will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was taken too soon from this earth, and all who loved her will continue living in her honor with a commitment to uphold her legacy and memory. She is survived by her husband Ryan Ordway and daughter Addison, her parents (Tim and Deb Kelly), sister Stacy Murphree (spouse Mike), and sister Danielle Parrish (spouse Domanick), and multiple nieces and nephews (Tailor, Mackenzie, Madison, Ryann, Riley, Talan, Ava, Molly, and Rachel) who all loved her dearly.
A celebration of Jenny's life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2:00-6:00pm at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, Castle Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Addie’s college investment 529 plan by visiting UGift529.com with a code 27D-263 or Teaching the Autism Community Trades (TACT).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.OlingerAndrews.com for the Ordway family.
