James E. Cortes

James E. Cortes (35 years) passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 in Elizabeth, CO. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, JoLene Cortes; 2 children, Esabel “Esa” Cortes (8 years) and Alejandro “Alex” Cortes (4 years); parents, Deborah and Andres Cortes; 2 siblings and their children, Richard Cortes (his wife Jennifer; their children, Devin and Lorelai) and Andrea Robinson (her husband Val; their child, Anjel); father and mother-in-law, Pastor Rick and Billie Mills; sister-in-law, Jayd Wells (her husband Gabe; their child, Kayli); Grandparents, Ann Craig, Jorge and Angelita Cortes, and Kelly and Donna Gibson; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. James was the Assistant Manager at Calvin Klein and assistant pastor at Majestic Valley Baptist Church in Elbert, CO. He loved Jesus Christ, family, friends and staying busy. Funeral services will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Majestic View Church in Kiowa, CO; immediately followed by interment at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, CO.
