Isabelle Chodera, age 91, of Castle Rock, CO, passed away in the early morning of December 27, 2016, after a long struggle with dementia.
Isabelle Sampou was born June 15, 1925, in Vandergriff, PA. She married Robert D. Chodera on September 4, 1948, and he was the love of her life! Together they had four children: Susan (Kim) Chodera Markshausen, Gail Chodera, Andrew (Jeni Reinier) Chodera, and Amy (Gregg) Chodera Keppler. Active throughout her years, Isabelle loved playing baseball, tennis and golf, and was a world wide traveler. Isabelle was preceded in death by Robert on December 3, 1972. She is survived by her brother Andre Sampou, and sister Joan Moen. She loved her three grandchildren, Emma, Zeke, and Roland, and her two great grandchildren, Flynn and Hazel.
