Elsie M. Flynn

Passed away on Tuesday evening November 23, 2010 at home with her family in Castle Rock, Colorado. Elsie Marie Flynn was born on August 19, 1933 in Denver, Colorado to parents, Marcelino and Elsie Cordova. In 1957 she married Edward J. Flynn and they shared 53 years of loving marriage. They were blessed with 5 children, Linda, Marty, Bobby, Gary and Debbie.

Elsie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook, bake, paint, crochet, bowl, read and watch movies. Survivors include her loving husband Edward, daughters Linda Flynn and Debbie Hier of Castle Rock, sons, Martin Flynn of Aurora and Robert Flynn of Leavenworth, Kansas. Brother and Sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elsie was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way.

Elsie was preceded in death by her son, Gary Flynn, her parents and sister, Rosie Medina.

There will be a visitation at the Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson F.H. (407 Jerry St., Castle Rock) on Mon (11/29) from 5-7 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues (11/30) at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (2746 5th St., Castle Rock) at 10:30 AM.
