Bev was born in Jersey City, N.J. on January 15, 1942. She met her husband, Edward J. Dempsey, on a blind date and they were married June 5, 1965. For a brief time, she worked for Western Electric. For over 20 years she was a successful real estate agent in Middlesex County, N.J. Bev loved the Jersey Shore and loved going to Beach Haven and Cape May. For several years she taught Sunday school at St. Helena’s church in Edison, N.J.
A former resident of Irvington, N.J., Parlin, N.J., and Edison, N.J., in 2002 she and her husband moved to Colorado to be closer with their grandchildren. She loved her grandkids more than anything and often took them on outings, to the movies, did crafts with them, walks, swimming, and just spent time with them. She also loved the Rocky Mountains and going with family on day trips or staying up in Breckenridge, CO.
She died peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her children.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Beverly is survived by her husband, Edward Dempsey of Highlands Ranch, her 3 children Shawn Dempsey of Larkspur, CO, Kathleen Dempsey of Irvine, CA, Edward Dempsey (and wife Gaelle) of Littleton, CO, and her 4 grandchildren Caitlin, Nevan, Manon, and Leanna.
