Julia was married to the late Adan Garza on October 2, 1954. They were married for 48 years.
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and kindly instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness." Proverbs 31:26-27
Julia was a homemaker who put her family first while surpassing anyone’s expectations of everyday operations of running the home.
She was a woman who supported her family through any circumstance and shared everything she had with her children and those in need.
Julia had the ethical mindset of keeping her dignity by working hard, paying bills on time, and always said to her children and grandchildren, “Hard work strengthens a person, don’t be lazy”
A mighty warrior parent type she was a strong, yet, a compassionate nurturer who emphasized her role by providing love, care, and guidance through her actions. Morning by morning, preparing breakfast for her children and always concerned that their clothing was clean, ironed and their hair well combed before rushing them off to school.
Julia loved her children and consistently prayed for her family as she placed God at the forefront of her life.
She is survived by her five children: Petra Harris, Adam Garza, Isaac Garza & wife Wava, Polo Garza & wife Kathy, Aurora Corriero & husband Germain. 11 Grand-children, 22 Great-grand-children and four great-great grand-children.
Visitation Friday, April 11 at 9:00am, followed by Funeral at 10:00am at J. Warren Funeral Service, Cole & Maud the Garden Chapel. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
