Born on October 27, 1932 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, Mr. Free is survived by his wife, Agnes, of 61 years; daughter, Karen, and husband, Steve Boutwell; daughter, Kim, and husband, Craig Barker; and son, Bill Free, and wife, Kimberly; and three grandchildren: Jacob and Kaylene Barker and Hunter Free. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Mildred Hess; sister, Arlene, and husband, John Phillips, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Free was a U.S. Army Korean-war era veteran, worked in the truss and construction industry, was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and a model railroad enthusiast. He loved boating, camping, and traveling. Mr. Free was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
