Dear Kim, Devin and Nate,
Tomo was my best friend through high school and for years after.  We lost touch when I graduated and moved away, but he's always been in my heart.
He was my 'brother', and I grieve for him as one.  

I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Tomo at DSA and he will be remembered for his love of life, he knew how to enjoy life! I pray for God to give you peace during this time.

I am truly saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Tomo. He was my manager at DSA and it was a pleasure to work with him, as he went out of his way to make everyone feel appreciated. Tomo's positive outlook, cheerfulness and great sense of humor will be missed by all, but certainly not forgotten. Dear Kim and Family,
My heart is so heavy over your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Tomo at DSA. He was such a funny, happy guy... and such a gracious soul. We got to know each other really well when we shared an office together for a while. He loved all of you so much; loved Fiesta Fridays, loved it when Devin came home, and loved riding his bike. I will miss my friend and office buddy, miss his smile, his whistling and humming, his happy heart, and most of all.. our long honest talks. Peace be with all of you. Godspeed, Tomoichi.

I feel so blessed to have known and worked with him at PPD, and am extremely saddened to hear of this great loss.  I worked outside of his office and he would always whistle and smile, which always made me feel that everything was alright.  He taught me not to take myself so seriously and enjoy life.  He touched so many people with his positive spirit and he will be missed by us all.  Please accept my deepest sympathy for your family's loss.  You are all in my prayers.

To Tomo's family,
I am so saddened by this tragic news. Tomo was such a happy person- always whistling in the halls and putting a smile on all of our faces during his time with us at PPD. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Cummings Family, please know that a multitude of prayers are being sent up for you at this time. Your loved one, Tomo, will surely be missed. That smile, positive attitude and whistling often turned my not so good work day into a happy one. Tomo and I worked together for many years (PPD and ClinTrials). Dear Kim, Devin and Nate,
Your husband and father, Tomoichi is, without a doubt, a great father, friend, mentor, colleague, leader and positive soul that left a lasting legacy with those of us that had a pleasure and honor to know and meet.  As you know, Tomoichi has made such a positive impact on so many individuals that he came in contact over his career and in life.  I will always remember Tomo's smile, his outlook on life and his signature greeting when we would talk via phone or when I would see Tomo in person.  Tomo would always say, "hey what do you say....?".

The loss of a wonderful man, colleague and friend is being felt by the entire DSA family.  I personally will miss his words of encouragement and kind spirit that made working with him an absolute pleasure.  I will miss the sunshine that he brought with him as he walked into a room and will forever remember his jokes and whistling as he walked the building.
