Stephen Allen Krager

Stephen Allen Krager, 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, with family by his side. He was born on March 14, 1949, in Hudson, MA, to the late Allen E. and Rosalie M. (Pakus) Krager.

Steve was raised in Marlborough, MA, and graduated from Marlborough High School in 1967. He then studied at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he laid the foundation for a successful career in construction, drafting, and estimating. In the latter part of his career, Steve worked as an Estimator for Worcester Air Conditioning. In 2017, he moved to Cary, NC, to enjoy his retirement.

Steve prioritized spending time with his family. If there was a family gathering, he would be there with his hearty laugh and playful sense of humor. He had a lifelong passion for gardening and also enjoyed cruise travel and building model battleships. He loved to golf and relished time on the course with his son, brother, and many good friends.

Steve was predeceased by his beloved son Jonah Krager. He is survived by his daughter Erica Feldmann and her husband Glen, his brother Kenneth Krager and his wife Paula, his brother Carl Krager and his wife Carol and his grandchildren Audrey and Cole Krager and Alexa, Calvin and Brody Feldmann, his niece Amy and nephew Michael, and his stepfamily Melissa and Joshua Hayes.

A family memorial will be held in his honor in Cary, NC, with a memorial service to be planned in Massachusetts at a later date.
