Sara W Casper

Sara received her BA in Home Economics at UNC Greensboro. She enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family and creating memories of holiday traditions that will remain with them all. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading. Sara was a member of Extension Homemakers Club and her Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in Cary.

Sara is survived by her husband of 65 years Don W. Casper, daughters: Susan Cordle and her husband Robert, and Ellen Wells and her husband Steve; grandchildren: Jason and Kristen Cordle, Rebekah and Richard Maestri, Stacy and Steven Newton, Steven Wells Jr, Rachel Wells, and David Wells; and great grandchildren Harrison and Oliver Maestri and Hudson Cordle.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday August 14, 2017 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive from 1- 2pm. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
