After completing his enlistment, Bob joined IBM where he was employed as a field engineer for 33 years. In 1956, Bob married Gertrude Maroldt, the love of his life. They spent the next 55 years moving from Poughkeepsie, New York to Erie, Pennsylvania, to Reston, Virginia, and finally, to Cary, North Carolina, their home for the past 37 years.
After retiring from IBM in 1989, Bob realized his lifelong dream of entrepreneurship, embarking on his second career as a businessman, mentor, and investor.
