Richard Michael Santino

May 07, 1944 - March 23, 2017

Born in Boston to Alice "Gert" & Michael Santino, Rich, a loving husband, father of two, grandfather of three, a brother, and friend of many took his last breath surrounded by those who cherished him most.

Graduating from Malden High ’62 Bridgeton Academy ’63, and Northeastern University, Rich met the love of his life Marie Mclellan and they married February 22, 1969 welcoming their son Todd Michael '75. The family moved to Pleasanton, CA, Eden Prairie, MN, where they had their daughter, Nicole Marie '77, and Plano, TX before landing in Cary, NC '87. After a successful sales and operations career with New England Telephone Co., & Raychem Corp, he built High Mark Painting & Remodeling. Rich’s legacy and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts and souls of those he touched so deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary on Saturday April, 1st at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in support of PurpleStride Raleigh-Durham 2017, a Pancreatic Cancer Walk on April 29th. We will be walking as Team Santino.
