Hello Family: I was at the memorial service today. Congratulations on your father's award and life. Your father and husband was a special person. I knew him from his time with Dr. Lennard Britton and Joe Fernandez and Paul Bell. I was the Magnet Director. He set up the monies from the lottery funds in Florida to pay for the magnet programs. he always told me --you are good at travel budgets ---you can come to the budget department to work! a great compliment. 
He had the nameplate on his desk--" the answer is "no"; but he said it with love! He was a great man. Judith Stein

Martha, Tommy, Anne  and family we were saddened to hear about your loss. Richard was a good and a very smart man. I was glad I got to know him.
