Pennies from Heaven... what are the odds? So my 8 year old gets one of these forward to all your friends type of emails yesterday and forwards it to me. It's entitled The Penny. It goes to talk to about the old saying "find a penny, pick it up, have a day of good luck." Then the author tells us what a friend shared with her about those pennies. Just maybe they are dropped by a special angel watching over you as a reminder to just how much you are loved by those up in heaven. It was a sweet little story that at first I put aside during my busy day. Then today, on our errands, my 4 year old finds a penny. Then moments later the six year old picks one up. And then, yes, my eight year old looks around and discovers one. They are concerned that their mom has not found one. We pay, head out to the car, and what do you think we find? Yep, the fourth penny. Someone was sending an important message today, to remind us. Daddy, while it breaks my heart, I know you are up there watching over us and you know just how much we miss you. I love you.

Pam let me know about 1:30 this morning. He was such a special man, loved by many. I am glad I did get to talk to him a few times this past September and October. We also had an ongoing commentary during AI which I really enjoyed. I have never met him In person but between FB and you and Pam I felt I knew him. Our sympathy is extended to Randy's family and friends... He will be sadly missed yet wonderfully remembered. Randy,I still remember the days we had together playing golf and poker. We were both not perfect at either game but were successful in the game of life. I miss those days. You are saved in my memories. Janice and family,please accept my condolences.
