Dr. Zevin's stethoscope was always freezing.  I once asked him if he kept it in the freezer between patients and he responded, "Of course I do."  I once also had an injection, a vaccine I recall and I was very nervous.  He waited a couple seconds before and said, "Now that wasn't bad, was it?"  I said, no, I didn't feel a thing.  He then said, "That's because I haven't given it to you yet."  Despite his whit, he was the most amazing doctor to me and my two older brothers.  I think my mother would have have totally lost it had it not been for Dr. Zevin.  There is a special place in heaven for people like him.  God Bless You and Your Family, Perry. 

Just happened to be looking up my old pediatrician the Famous Dr. Zevin!  The only Dr. That I never wanted to leave even up til I was 25!  He was the best and most caring sensible Dr.   So saddened to see that he passed away but I am sure he has moved on to bigger and better places!  May God bless his soul and reward him Greatly for all he did while he was on this earth.  Many Condolences to his family he was truly one of a kind.

Dr.  Zevin  was the pediatrician for my 3 grown children. They all remember him and are so sad to hear of his passing.. we are sure  he is missed a great deal

I have very warm memories of Dr Zevin.  He was my childhood paediatrician and a very kind and gentle man.  I remember he used to call me Bob when most people called me Rob (I didn’t mind). I still think of him when someone calls me Bob today!

When we  joined MJCBY in the 1980's,  Perry was one of the first people we met.  He greeted us with warmth and kindness.  I think of Perry as a gentle giant who had a special smile and  twinkle in his eye  when he spoke of  his family.

We will always remember Dr. Perry, as my children called him, with smiles and joy, for he was not only their doctor, but a very close friend with our family.
Bingo, swim parties, going to Wildwood with both families, the “too bad disease” are just a few memories that we have of Perry.
When, in our religion, we say “May his memory be a blessing,” we know that the Zevin family are truly blessed.

Kenny and I send our most hearfelt condolences to Janet and family.  It was my pleasure to serve on the Board of Morristown Jewish Center with Perry.  He was a wonderful, principled, committed leader who served as a mentor for me and an example for our whole community.
We spent so many hours at meetings around so many dining room tables, and drank so many cups of coffee and ate so much coffee cake -- all for MJC, and all with Perry's unique point of view and sense of humor.  
We will always remember him with love and fondness.

Perry was one of the first pediatricians who greeted me when I came to NJ. I had privileges at Morristown Memorial  and St. Clares.
Perry made me welcome to the staff and was both a mentor and a colleague.
He was an excellent physician who cared for a generation of patients. He provided care and instruction to help both the patient and the parents. When he retired he was missed by his patients and the medical community.
A life well lved.

We were so sad to hear that Perry passed away.  We  often think of the wonderful times we shared together and will always remember the fun times we had.

 A mensch. Of such a kind and genuine caring heart. He remembered and told me stories of my youth (from so long ago) and family history.  After not seeing each other for many, many years, he gifted me with the original invitation to my father's Bar Mitzvah. Perry had held onto this for over 50 years. This was a true gift but no gift as valuable as the kindness, affection and spirit he shared with others. When Perry gave you an embrace, you felt love.
