Pat Piglia was 84 when he passed away on 4/12/25. He was a resident of North Carolina but also lived in South Carolina, Arizona, Michigan and Ohio. Pat was born in Akron, Ohio on February 21, 1941. His parents were Pascal Charles “Patsy” Piglia and Helen Elizabeth Piglia.
Pat graduated from Kent State University for undergraduate school and later earned a master’s degree from Michigan State University. After college he worked for Chrysler but spent most of his career with NMG Aerospace.Pat was married to Sandy Piglia until she passed in 2013.
He is survived by his two children Lisa and Scot as well as their spouses Guido Ferrari and Angie Bane. He also has a sister Maria and two brothers Joe and Pete that passed before him. He has four grandchildren Luisa, Giacomo, Christiano and Bella.
He enjoyed watching college sports:especially Duke, Florida and Michigan state. Pat also enjoyed playing euchre in his later years and was very involved with the Catholic Church his entire life.
A prayer service for Pascal will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. A receiving of friends & reception will occur Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 5:00 PM, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. A funeral mass will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 1125 Mother Teresa Dr., Cary, NC 27519. A committal service will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Rd., Cary, NC 27519.
