Nancy Stevens

Nancy Franks Stevens of Cary, born September 8, 1936, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 27, 2018. While attending Cary High School, she met the love of her life, Ronnie Lee Stevens, who she married in 1956. They were married for 62 years until Ronnie’s passing on August 1, 2018. After a long career, she retired from Grocery Boys, Inc. in February 2005.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie; parents, Myrtle and James Franks; and sister Doris Glazier. She is survived by her son and wife Craig and Julie Stevens; daughter and husband, Kimberly and Mike Grant; son, Brian Stevens and girlfriend, Alissa Urick; grandchildren, Nick Stevens, Jeffrey and Krista Stevens, Connor Stevens, Morgan Grant, Drake Stevens and Hallie Stevens; and sister Wanda Knight.

The family will receive visitors at the Stevens’ home, 1209 Wellington Lane in Cary, on Saturday, December 29th, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. At Nancy’s request, a public service will not be held.
