Margarita Henry, 94, of Cary, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born in Tampico, Mexico to Nicanor and Zaleta D’avalos in April 1930.
Margarita worked as a nanny for a consulate’s family in Tampico, Mexico. She also worked part time as a seamstress. She came to the United States in 1955 with the consulate and his family to the Washington, DC area before marrying in 1958.
Margarita enjoyed spending her free time with her family and traveling by car to North Carolina and Mexico.
Margarita was married to the late Hampton Henry. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Marechek and her husband, Gary of Cary, NC; two granddaughters, Jen and her husband, Shane of Wendell Falls, NC and Katie and her husband, Chris of Charlotte, NC.
