She was a strong and determined woman who worked hard her whole life. She was completely dedicated to her family, raising two daughters while both she and her husband worked full-time. She was a reliable and trusted employee and found so much validation and meaning in doing good work. She deeply loved her late husband and expressed that love by taking care of him his entire life. When he passed away, she greatly missed their lives together. They would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this coming Monday, July 3rd. She instilled in her daughters her strong work ethic, a deep sense of responsibility, and a spirit of strength and spunk that has guided them every day and will stay with them for the rest of their lives. She loved her two sons-in-law as sons, trusted them with her daughters and appreciated all they did for her. She especially adored her two grandchildren. Mema made sure they too were instilled with her work and family values. She loved them with her entire being. Family gatherings were her favorite times. It is in those times she will be missed the most.
