Louis Woodall

He was born August 29, 1929 in Wake County, a son of Alfred O. and Mallie Bagwell Woodall. He married Rachel Smith and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2014.

Surviving are his sons, Tim Woodall of Cary, Bryant (Marilyn) Woodall of Cary, and Neil (Kim) Woodall of Cary; his grandchildren, Michelle Gouge, Shane (Susan) Gouge, Chelsea (Ric) Cope-Stanley, Jillian (Clint) Lorek, Drew Woodall, and Devin Woodall; great grandchildren, Peyton, Landon, and Renn; and one sister, Maxine Wall of Wilmington.

Mr. Woodall worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for North Carolina State University retiring after 21 years of service.

He was a longtime member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be in Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church or Transitions LifeCare.

The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Terrace and Transitions LifeCare for all of the help and support given to Mr. Woodall.
