She was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania on March 6th 1943 to William and Catherine Broderick. She grew up in Berwick and graduated high school there in 1961. After high school she graduated nursing school in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Afterwards, she moved to Raleigh North Carolina to start her career and family.
Judy started her nursing career in the old Rex Hospital on Wade Avenue working her way into private duty nursing and then later the insurance industry. She ended her career in retirement from Blue Cross Blue Shield. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, spending time at the beach and being with friends and family.
Those who met Judy loved her. She never really met a stranger, and loved joking around with others. She had a generous soul and looked to help others. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Broderick; her son, Bryan Langley; her daughter, Kelly Deese and husband, Bill; and granddaughter, Gracie
Due to the pandemic, there is no funeral home visitation. A private celebration of Judy's life will be held at a later time.
