I still can’t believe you are gone. You were my best friend in high school  and boyfriend at one point and I’ll cherish that forever. You became my dance partner shortly after (I made you haha) and that was the best time of my life. I loved laughing and dancing with you and watching the joy you had preforming.  I love you John and will forever miss you. Keeping your family and friends in my prayers ! 💜❤️ Fly high and rest easy!

I had the privilege of knowing John, briefly, when he taught at our dance studio the summer he graduated from highschool. I'll not forget when I first met him. He shook my hand with BOTH of his hands and was so handsome, polite and warm.  I thought, "Well, YOU'RE  hired!" I called my mother that night and said Tom Cruise (only cuter) had walked through our doors that day. He spoke so very fondly of his family, especially his mother. He was outgoing, calm and very sweet. He would do his "Jersey accent" and we would all laugh! I am praying for him and for his family always. What a special, precious, eternal  soul he is. 


My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. John, you were my best friend growing up. We would spend just about everyday together. From playing basketball, kickball, street hockey, soccer, box ball, and just about every game/activity we could innovate. No matter what we did, you always did it with a smile on your face. That’s one of my favorite characteristics about you... always the happiest guy around and always made the room fun and better place. As we grew older it broke my heart when you moved to NC, but I knew that our bond couldn’t be broken. My favorite texts in high school/college would be when you’d inform me you’re coming up to NY to visit. And when you did come up it was like we never skipped a beat. Eastchester itself was never that fun but somehow you made each visit one to remember. My condolences truly goes out to you and your family. I know how much everyone loved you and would do anything to be with you again. You’ll always be in my heart, John. Love you forever brother.

I send my sympathy, prayers, and love to you and your family. I am heartbroken by the news of John’s passing. He was such a kind hearted, cool, and full of energy dude.     I consider myself extremely blessed to have known him and will cherish the memories we had. He will always be a champion with a huge heart and electric smile. Dear Jay, Rita, and Elyse,

I want to express to you all my most heartfelt sympathy.  No words can express the deep sorrow my heart felt at the news of John’s passing. The world has lost someone very special and your sorrow is shared by everyone who knew and loved him.  He may be gone from us now, but we all have memories of him that cannot be taken away…his good nature, his laugh, his smile, the good times we had, the sad times we shared, and all the nights of softball games and beers afterwards. John was a special young man. From the day we met in middle school, and leading to the last time we saw each other in March, John’s spirit never changed. 

March was the first time I had seen or spoke to John in, what had to be, three years (we were teammates on the football team in high school and graduated together). But as everyone reading knows, John was the type of person that never knew a stranger. Our fifteen minute conversation at a bar in Charlotte was special. We picked up right from where we had left off and I walked away grateful to have ran into him. Fast forward to today, and I wish I got the chance to speak to him just one more time. 

Jay and Rita, though we have never met, I am deeply saddened for your loss and wish you peace through these times. John lived his life to the absolute fullest and his memory will be with me forever.

To our loving cousin, 
You have always been the star of any room you walked into or event that you attended. You were someone that people could always look up to for a laugh, joke, warm hug, or just overall, “positive warmth.” Our family gatherings are filled with wonderful memories of  you telling jokes, cradling dachshunds under your arms, playing pool with family members, and laughing with your cousins.  
The last time we spoke, you told me you wanted to build a replica of Oma’s basement in your house, so we can carry on the tradition of playing pool and dancing to German music with dachshunds.  
You loved your family and friends and always wanted to see everyone smiling. This is how I’ll always remember you, someone who wanted the people he loved to always have a smile, so you would take it upon yourself to always bring the laughter to the ones you loved.  People who have known you are truly blessed because they have been touched by your kindness, goofiness, and warmth.  One of my favorite memories is how you would always call me, "Keithlyn," because that is how Oma always spells my name.
I will forever cherish the wonderful memories we had with all our cousins growing up. I will miss you and will always love you. You are forever in our hearts and I know you will always watch over us with Schatzie in your arms.

Talk about somebody who could tear up a dance floor! I’m not lying when I say this man motivated to get in the mirror and practice my moves. Truly an incredible person who welcomed anybody in with open arms. Sending my best to his family and friends.

You are the epitome of family. The brightest and most up-beat person in the room at every get together and occasion. I can’t believe I just saw you in Charolette in October. I thank God I had that time to spend with you. 
 
I will always cherish the memories we’ve had, even if there were fewer after you moved to North Carolina. Every chance we had to spend together meant everything to me.  

My heart breaks to know you are gone and I won’t be seeing you again. It hurts to know I can’t call you or text you anymore.  

You will always be remembered as the funny and charismatic, wise guy who could turn any negative situation into a positive. 

I will always love you and you’ll always have a special place in my heart. 

I could always count on John to be the light and positive energy in the room. He was constantly cracking jokes and being silly, while also showing his genuine, caring, and loving side. John loves his family more than anything in the world and always put them first. He cherished all of our family gatherings and would constantly tell me how he wants to call and spend time with our Oma because “we don’t know how much time we have left”.  
I have endless memories with my cousin spanning the past 24 years, and not a single one is negative. 
I’ll never forget our trips to lake George, parties at Piccolo’s, my trip to Charlotte, etc. You made all of these memories so special and unique by just being there.
Our holidays and family gatherings will never be the same without Johnny’s contagious laugh,  hilarious sense of humor, positive and uplifting energy, and unconditional love. Rest in Paradise my cousin. I know you’ll be looking out for me❤️

John and I would regularly hang out and constantly make jokes with each other or around people we know. We were always trying to get a laugh out of someone and I’ll never lose those awesome memories of us. I’m going to miss John; but am looking forward to carrying on his legacy in the name of always being there for others and / or making them laugh and feel themselves.

Jay, Rita, and Elyse I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I really had enjoyed babysitting when I was younger and how bubbly and goofy John always was.   Your whole family is in my thought last and prayers.   RIP John.

My heart goes out to Jay, Rita, Elyse, and your entire family. I am so sorry for your loss. I first met John when he was interviewing with ADP. From the moment he sat down across from me, the room instantly exploded with energy; we practically hired him on the spot! I’ll never forget the first sales call we went on together. I asked him to let me lead and jump in when necessary, being that it was his first day on the job. If you knew John, you know that wasn’t really his style to hang back and let someone else do all the talking. He ended up running the whole thing, and he closed it down. It still makes me laugh to this day! We ate ice cream afterwards to celebrate. He had a knack for spreading his infectious attitude to others and will be dearly missed by myself and everyone from the ADP family. 

This breaks my heart, I’ve known John forever since middle school and High-school, we’ve been through good times and bad times together but no matter what,John was the kindest and most gentle person I’ve known. There are really no words that can describe just how amazing of a person he was. Rest In Peace my dear friend. 


I am so sorry for your loss. John was a good friend of mine in high school. I used to give him a ride to school and we would always make jokes about hearing the same song on the radio every morning. John was incredibly funny and kind, and I’ll never forget the times we had in those early high school years. Rest In Peace brother ❤️
