Joanna Leigh Bruce

December 31, 1973, to Jim Bruce and Linda Bruce, she grew up in Cary, North Carolina. After graduating

from Cary High School, she then graduated with honors from High Point University and enjoyed a

successful accounting career with ABB in Cary, North Carolina.

She is survived by her parents Linda Bruce of Jamestown and Jim and Charlotte Bruce of Cary; her

brothers Lloyd Bruce (Jennifer) of Vass and Robert Bruce (Christy) of Raleigh; her sisters Deborah Long of

Statesville and Jennifer Short (Greg) of Snow Camp, and several beloved nieces and nephews, as well as

her adored pets Punk’n and Lady Vader.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the charity of choice in her memory.
