James W. Henderson, 72, of Cary, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his home. He was born July 7, 1939 to the late George and Jean (McQuade) Henderson in Glasgow, Scotland. James was an avid golfer and fisherman and was retired from American Airlines after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra of 50 years; two sisters Phoebe Harkins of Scotland and Maureen Henderson of New Jersey, one brother, George Henderson of Scotland; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held from 12 -2 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jim’s memory to the American Heart Association.
