IN THE CARE OF
Mrs. Irene Drake born December 3, 1926 passed away January 10, 2021 in Cary, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Drake in 2006.
She was a very loving mother to her surviving son, Robert A. Drake, Jr. and his wife Susan Drake of Myrtle Beach, SC and her daughter Dusty Drake Batten of Cary, NC.
She was greatly loved by her surviving grandchildren Samantha Kessler of NJ, Sabrina Drake of NJ, Dayne Drake Batten of Cary, NC, Ashlyn K Batten of Greenville, NC and six great-grandsons.
There will be a private graveside service Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Moonbeams and Miracles Therapeutic Horsemanship Center PO Box 614 Farmville, NC 27828.
Her family and friends will dearly miss her love and sweet, gentle spirit.
