Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day.  You are and will always be in my heart, along with all my love.

Helen Marie was such a beautiful, smart, funny, truly lovely woman.  She seemed like a wonderful mother and wife and was always the perfect hostess.  And Jan, like the card that I sent to you said, "the one who rocked you in the beginning, needed you most in the end"....what a blessing it was that you were so close to her that you could make sure that she got the absolute best of care since her cancer diagnosis.  I know that you all will miss her immensely.  So will my mother and I will also.  I am so glad that my family and I were able to visit wtih all of you in NC several years ago.  We will always have that memory.  So very sorry for your loss.

It has been a pleasure to know you all since we moved to Carpenter Village.  Helen taught us by example how to live our lives. We will fondly remember the good times that we shared together: sitting on your front porch socializing, sharing elegant meals that Helen had prepared, enjoying the dogs and watching Steeler's games.  We learned so many things from Helen. She was a role model for us all for her elegance, grace and dignity. Jenny is looking each day for Helen. Mom - through good and not so good times you were always there to provide love and support.  Because mere words cannot express how much I owe to you, I can only say that I loved you and  will miss you so much.

Dear Uncle Dan, Danny, Jan and Terry;
My first memories of Christmas Eves are at your house, I still remember Santa's bootprint on your hearth, the warm family feeling at those get togethers, Spunky, and the PoGo stick down in the basement. Even though Aunt Helen Marie only met my kids twice, she truly loved them, and I will miss her very much. Stay strong, you're in my prayers.

My fond memories of Helen, through our many years of friendship, are numerous.I will miss our phone chats. May God's gift of time help to reduce your sorrow, until all that remains is the love and happy memories.

It is so hard to lose a long time (lifetime) friend.  Helen Marie will be greatly missed.  With deepest sympathy to all of you.

Our family trips to visit our "Pittsburgh cousins" were a highlight of my childhood. Amazing how many things I do in my home today are a result of things I learned from Aunt Helen Marie. Who knew bathroom towels were supposed to match? Is there any other color to decorate with than blue? I also discovered the soft drink Wink on those trips; how I wish I could find it today. She taught me how to shuffle cards, and I still think of her when I do the bridge. Aunt Helen Marie was a great lady and will always be remembered for her strength, grace, warmth and incredible hospitality. I will miss her.

Even though we havent been together in awhile, you are always in our thoughts, especially now.  You are a very special part of our lives and Aunt Helen Marie is too, and will be dearly missed.  Our prayers and love to you all.

Words cannot express my feelings about the loss of my mother-in-law.  I have been very blessed to be a part of this family which has been totally loving, living the treasures of life through the easy fun times as well as the difficult and challenging times. She was one strong lady, always pushing us to be the best of the best in every way.  I know we will all miss her very much.
