The first Night I met Grey, She was the sweetest when i was going thru the same situation as her. Such a sweet girl.Was there when i needed a shoulder to cry on. She was my roommate back in rehab. Good memories i had with her. I am deeply upset she passed. She and I were sisters. Always Smiling. Very gorgous young girl. She will be deeply miss. In my thoughts

We share this time of grief, but also share in our love and memories of Grace. When we first met little Gracie we were captivated by her energy, sweetness and charm. Grace became a seasoned plane traveler as an infant and we remember a photo of her in Ireland sitting in a garden full of daffodils. She visited Bob’s hometown in New York several times as a child and was drawn like a magnet to Grandma’s piano, insisting on entertaining us each spare minute despite her lack of formal training. We went for walks on the path to the creek and she collected handfuls of wild flowers which she featured in her art. She loved to swim and swim and swim. We visited her in San Jose, CA and Cary, NC when the Brandts lived there as often as we could. Our times together became fewer when she started school, but we knew she loved to sing, and we recognized that she was growing more beautiful and talented with each passing year. We were troubled to learn of Grace’s struggles with addiction and we prayed constantly for her recovery. Although we had not seen Grace recently, she was always in our hearts, and there she will remain.

What a beautiful service celebrating a life ended much too soon. Our hearts are heavy but your poignant message about asking for help is so crucial and will undoubtedly be an inspiration for some to take the next step. 
Max, the tribute video was amazing and obviously made with much love.  Thank you for sharing your sister’s beauty and talents with us in this way. 
We have such fond memories of your family at CPC and our fun times together. We think of you often and will be holding you in our hearts.

We will always remember Grace holding Tristan when he was very young on our visit to DC.  We will deeply miss the chance to get to know her better. We are thinking of you and wishing you comfort.

Sorry we lost Gracie so young. She grew up next door to Mark and I. She & Max spent time at our house baking cookies or watching funny movies.   She was so talented, had the voice of an angel & was always so friendly.   She always watched over her brother & always made sure he was OK.  We will truly miss her beautiful smile. Dear One, we’ll miss your bright smile, innocent soul, and beautiful voice. My favorite memory of you is us sitting together on your dad’s porch late one night- me, you, Chad, Renee, and Bob. You sang for us and I literally CRIED when I heard your incredible voice!!! That night you introduced me to Ariana Grande’s song, “God is a Woman,” and I think of you anytime I hear it:) Also, you are the first (maybe only?) person to convince me that I am a Cool Mom, and I’ll definitely hold onto that compliment forever!!! Sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Grace!! Our son Garin stayed with the Brandt’s during his USA tryouts. They were great  hosts for Garin. Grace was just a little girl back then and yes she sang for us all!  She had a special talent! And will never be forgotten.

I was blessed to have met Grace a few weeks ago in GA. She always had a smile and was wise beyond her years.  I know she will be up there singing with the angels.

'Amazing Grace' you will be missed but NEVER forgotten.  I called her this because Amazing is what she was. God blessed my soul when He allowed me to meet this beautiful soul here in Georgia a few weeks ago here in Georgia. She graced us with her beautiful voice and Amazing presence. Grace always had something positive to say. She spoke with such wisdom for her age. I remember feeling down about my scars, she would always hug my neck, kiss my cheek and say good morning beautiful.  I will always keep you in my heart little angel. Heaven has  called you back home.

I remember when Gracy would just sing to me,her smile was always so beautiful! I’m really sorry for your loss… I pray that God will get you through this very hard time.

This is my favorite picture of Grace and I. This is a screenshot from a video that we were recording at a sleepover when we were 13, and the smiles in it are so genuine. We spent five hours this night recording ourselves singing "When I Was Your Man". We called it our song from that day on. Grace had the most beautiful voice and I could have listened to it forever. This night is one of my favorite memories from when we were young. We called ourselves Sara and Grace "McBrant" when we introduced ourselves in the videos because we considered ourselves as close as sisters and separate last names just wouldn't work for us. There was a time period when we were quite literally inseparable, and that was one of the best times of my life. Our song came on while I was driving today and it was the first time I had heard it in years. I sang my verses for you, Grace. But don't worry I didn't sing on your parts, almost like muscle memory. I love you and I miss you. 


Grace was a lovely girl and an even better friend. The way she impacted my life- I will forever be grateful. I love you Grace. Thank you for loving me. 

Grace was a kind and beautiful soul.  We got to know her over the last few years and we’re  impressed with her compassion for others.   She was a talented singer with well trained vocals and dreams for her future.  We greatly enjoyed the time we spent with her.

I met Grace in 7th grade when she was one of the new girls at Salem Middle. She was in my social studies class and we instantly became friends. She also was a part of the Blue Notes which was a show choir alongside my sister. Grace was such a sweet girl and she always gave the best hugs! Although we attended different high schools, we stayed in touch and still saw each other occasionally. I supported her after her mom passed in 2016. We were still in high school at that time. In recent years, we were more acquaintances than close friends as we would touch base occasionally and followed each other on social media. I interacted with her on several occasions and she had such a beautiful singing voice! I still remember when she sang At Last by Etta James and Skyscraper by Demi Lovato in our middle school talent shows. She always sang her heart out on that stage! She was very talented and such a joy to be around.  I’m in complete shock that she’s gone now and I’m sending all my support and prayers to her loved ones. RIP sweet girl ❤️😭 a beautiful soul gone too soon 😔💔

Grace was someone I met in the hospital. I had tried to take my own life and I was struggling with so many things. She met me at my absolute worst and she still loved me so fiercely. She made me feel safe, loved and beautiful. She shared her story and her struggles and she made me want to fight harder for my life because I saw how hard she was fighting for her own. I wish I could’ve seen who she grew up to be. Grace you have inspired me and changed my life forever. I love you always

Grace was someone who could put a smile on anyone’s face. I always had a blast singing with her, she loved to sing. She will be missed dearly.

I am so so sorry to hear about Grace. Our prayers are with you and your family. 

Grace was always so kind to me during our freshman year of high school. There was a time when I was singing to some of our classmates in gym class. She was excited to hear that someone else could sing besides herself! We would sing together sometimes. Rest in peace, beautiful Grace.
