Geraldine "Gerry" Joyce Barr, age 77, of Cary, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Mondovi, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Goldie Arneson. She grew up in the South Bay area of California. Gerry loved being with her family, the beach, Duke basketball and NASCAR.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Rodney Barr Sr.; her son, Rodney Barr Jr. and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Josh and Jacob Barr and a brother, Corky Arneson.
A celebration of Gerry's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
