Emerson “Ed” Disston Beecher, Jr. of Cary, NC passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Rex Hospital. He was 80 years old.
Ed was born July 26, 1936 to the late Emerson Disston Beecher, Sr. and Nannie Kay Barber. He was preceded in death by his son Mark H. Beecher. Ed is survived by his wife, Patsy Beecher; daughter, Mary “Beanie” Beecher; granddaughter, Serena Brennan and grandsons, Kenneth L Bolick, III and Mark Bolick; and his loving dog, Mattie Beecher.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 South East Maynard Road, Cary. The family will receive friends following the service.
