Edith Haddock Wright

Edith was a giver of love, laughter and memorable times. In her free time, she loved to fish, craft, bake, entertain and relax at the lake. Edith loved children and devoted her life to childcare in her home daycare for 44 years.

She is preceded in death by Earl, Arenta and Edward Haddock.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy; daughter, Christie; grandchildren, Kayla (Jacob) and Harlyn; sister, Donna (Sherrill); nieces, Shannon (Josh) and Ashley (Zack); and 5 great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Edith will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens, 905 Wake Chapel Road, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526.
