Earl Brent Godshalk, 60, of Cary, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25th at his home in Cary. Brent was born on October 18, 1956 in Sellersville, PA to the late Earl and Ruth Mitman Godshalk.
He went to Eastern Mennonite University for his Bachelors degree, Penn State for a Masters degree, and NC State for his PhD. He also served 3 years in Bangladesh with the Mennonite Central Commitee between getting his Bachelors and Masters degrees.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Godshalk; daughter, Ashley Godshalk; son, Tyler Godshalk; sister, Beth Ponzio.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
