Donald Eugene Corwin

Don is survived by his loving wife Ann of 62 years. Son Todd (Marilyn) Corwin, Son David (Tracy) Corwin, Daughter Donna (Alvin) Reed, Brother Doyle (Joyce) Corwin, Grandchildren Eric Corwin, David (Elizabeth) Corwin, Christina Corwin, Jacob Reed, Rebekah Corwin , April Corwin, Jerry Reed, Joey Reed and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Helen Corwin and his sister Ruth (Jim) Whitman. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all.

His favorite pastime was working on one project or another. Anything from fixing cars to upholstering furniture as a hobby and a business. He was a jack of all trades willing to lend a hand when someone needed his help. Don worked 30 years with the NC Dept. Of Transportation as a cartographer. After retiring he wanted to stay busy, so he worked for C.C. Mangum Co. Inc. for 8 additional years.

Services will be held at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary, NC on Sunday, November 5th, at 2:00pm. Visitation will follow the service.
