BURLINGTON – David Norman Webster, Jr., 77, died on Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Burlington on December 31, 1932, to David Norman Webster, Sr. and Gladys Thompson Webster. From 1953-1955, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany, where he met his wife. David worked for AT&T for 30 years. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marianne Krawietz Webster; sister, Mary Elizabeth Webster Ray; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 2331 LaVista Drive, Burlington. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
